February Trip to Guatemala – well timed!

Looking back, I (Sandra) can hardly believe that I had the privilege to go to Guatemala in February!  My flight home was on March 1st, and who would have guessed that March would usher in a world-wide pandemic?!  And now we are all adjusting to this new reality. We pray you are doing well and staying healthy as you go through this time.

The trip to Guatemala alongside Braden and Jorge from Engineering Ministries was such a blessing! We were up at the Vida Children’s Home each day as part of the video project. How amazing to spend time with the nannies and the babies in the baby home and to be part of the video interviews sharing of God’s many miracles. We are so grateful to Engineering Ministries for all they have given and done for us in designing the children’s home. What a beautiful thing to have our ministries work together in this call to care for orphaned and abandoned children in Guatemala.

My heart lept for joy to see the babies being so well cared for as the nannies attended to their every need. They are amazing young ladies giving of themselves to be the hands and feet of Jesus to these precious little ones.

And now, we find ourselves at home trusting God as we watch the daily news. We pray for our world and for God’s grand plan that includes so much that we do not yet see. He is our good, good Father, and we trust Him in all things and especially in the midst of this pandemic.

May you know God’s peace that passes all understanding. May you be blessed during this time as you seek God and trust Him. May you sense His presence and love!
